Disappointed with my veneers
I am having a hard time not being disappointed with my porcelain veneers. The veneers themselves look nice, but my natural teeth, which still show, don’t match them. That makes it obvious I had work done on my teeth. Can anything be done about this?

Jane,
There is nothing worse than spending a small fortune on a smile makeover, only to have it be disappointing. If I understand what you mean by your natural teeth still are visible, I’m hoping you mean your adjacent natural teeth and not the natural teeth under your porcelain veneers.
If your adjacent teeth are showing, it means your dentist didn’t factor in the width of your smile. That is a pretty rookie mistake, if I’m being honest.
Luckily, there is a simple solution. You have two choices. You can have your adjacent teeth whitened to more match your new veneers. Your second option is to have additional veneers made to be placed on all teeth from your upper arch that are visible when you smile.
